I know manpower is thin and perhaps it is something to consider for next year, but, you could go through an entire warning book in a day on Highland Lake and West Hill Pond for boating violations. Both facilities have part time ramp attendants that do a good job with what they've got but, they only see a fraction of what is really going on. Biggest deal on West Hill and most every other lake I've seen is no pfd's on paddleboards. That is rampant everywhere. At Highland, it,s not only no pfd's on paddleboarsd but the number of boats or jet skies with no observer while pulling people. On the water enforcement appears to be needed as many of these infractions are by waterfront residents. A few hour "pop in" might go a long way in getting the word out to these folks. Hot Friday afternoons would be a prime time.
