The crabs you get at Ted's are mostly from local waters and are the smaller green crabs. I have found them to be fresh and seem to last longer. A lot of the bait stores get them from a New Jersey supplier and you will have bigger crabs and the orange bottom type. This is why a 5 gallon bucket amount will differ.
