I am new to this thread and new to Tog fishing. I truly appreciate all of the great info posted on this board and others. I am wondering what the ideal size is for green crabs as bait. I rigged up one of those homemade traps (thanks for the tip!) and caught a bunch of crabs raging in size from a halfdollar up to about 2.5" inches wide (excluding legs). I understand that I should cut the bigger ones in half, but should the smaller ones be fished whole? Thank you for the advice.
