Mark S- depends on the forage and acreage I suppose- but I don't think 45-48" is unreasonable - the state record outta' pontoosuc in mass was 47" - (I am sure there are bigger ones still swimming as we speak) that lake is only about 500 acres - could be seeing 40 inch tiger muskies in a couple years and 45"+ in 3-5 years - they grow faster but don't survive as long as pure strain- so I think an 8-10 year old tiger muskie is at the end of its lifespan

Fishing is way too important to take so seriously...
