I've been using the 5/0 gammi circles, and like em. That twist pin threads into a fluke strip?

I've been using these in the Mustad stainless version for years (37161S). I love this hook for making my custom fluke rigs. Generally use 3/0 and 5/0 depending on the application.

Jon...

I like cutting up local fresh squid, not that frozen Pacific calamari crap. Tapered strip at least 1/4" thickness round right into the twist pin and then trailing end through the hook. Even catches those pesky bait stealing critters~

I still think the best fluke hook is the old Mustad 3407DT in 5/0. I think it has more bite than the khale style hook and the Duratin coating makes it very rust resistant. They are also pretty cheap at about 5 bucks per 50.
