What an awesome day. Truly another first class event put together by CTF and some of it’s finest members. My family had a great time and even though Nick missed the magic show and only fished for about a ½ hour it was still well worth the effort to go. My wife logged a ton of miles behind the wheel this weekend but Olivia and I got to spend some quality time together and that is worth it’s weight in gold.
To everyone that helped put this together and make it what it was Thank You! I am on the road 6 days a week and don’t see my family much so a day like this is priceless. We all had a great time, good fishing, good food, great entertainment, and spending some time with family and friends.
My mom, daughters and niece fueling up before hitting the water, with Team Chris Med in the background. Nice touch leaving the donuts and drinks for us latecomers. Thank you.
With the slight breeze, I decided to throw the anchor. Didn't take us long to start landing some sunnies and perch on worms with bobbers.
My oldest daughter, Pamela, scored first with a perch then a sunnie.
My niece Allison got in the action with a sunny.
Next, my youngest daughter, Samantha, got in the game with a perch.
Joe doing double-duty helping at the weigh-in before his magic show.
Large Fry and son weighing in.
Scott J. and boys getting ready to weigh-in.
Live fish. Better than any video game.
Brandon J. proudly displays his bass. The line of the day had to be when Brandon weighed in his fish and Joe asked him what he caught it on. He looked at Joe and gave him a one-word serious reply: "Dropshot."
After the food, it was time for prizes. Thanks to the Pauls, Fishing Factory III, and everyone who helped make it all happen! Thanks to all from the Game Dinner who bought raffle tickets that helped fund the Kids Day!
