Any word as to what is up for this area in regards to bow and shotgun hunting? Are they going to have the hunt this year? I was told it is on hold and as of this date my check has not been cashed. Someone told me the DEP is waiting for MDC to make a decision and then another person from MDC said they are waiting for DEP to make the call..Just a shot in the dark, maybe you can give a honest answer. I'd like to see them go ahead with the hunt. Someone in Franklin said if it is cancelled then what may happen is that you can select a no lottery A or B tag, hope it doesn't get to that...If they are worried about law suits (mountain biker in West Hartfogd MDC) I beleive anyone selected for these areas will be required to sign a waiver of liability prior to the hunt, so whats the problem? Maybe there is more to it, I don't know. Like you saif SB, wait and see..

We are still waiting for MDC, it's their property so they have the final say in how it's used.
