I haven't been to this dinner in 4 or 5 years, but I remember it was terrific. Would like to attend if I'm home that weekend.

Jon, can I commit around March 1, or is that too late?

I'll save tickets for you Dave, I hope you can make it. A duck or goose dish would be a nice compliment to the menu

Thanks, Jon. Will confirm and send a check as soon as I know my travel schedule. Assuming it works out, I hope to have Radsdog and one of my boys with me.

I'll plan to bring a duck dish and a goose dish. Thinking maybe some duck perlo or duck gumbo. For a goose dish, maybe some seasoned goose breast strips or else corned goose, depending on how much time I have. If you need something in particular, please let me know.

Bill, I know what you mean by your post and I know it wasn't directed at anyone in particular, hopefully everyone will bring something to share. I too have seen the ugly side where people came in empty handed, eat like kings, didn't buy any raffles then leave with arms loaded with styrofoam containers of food and desserts.
It happens anytime you bring 250 people together.

I'm not going to name names....but maybe I should! wink2

We have a great group and 99% of the people that come follow the rules and contribute as they are expected to.

Tony- you are 100% good to go, you and your family are always extremely generous with food and with the raffles.I look forward to seeing you there! beerchug

Any requests for desserts guys?? Not much game in the freezer. If I have some venison, I may do a Venison Taco Salad?

Taz....the venison taco salad sounds great- if you decide to do it post that on the menu thread so I can update it. Thanks!

Jon,

As it turns out, I'm good to go on Mar 12th. Will mail a check for 4 tickets to you tomorrow. As far as headcount, it will be Dave, Spencer, Dan and that famous Plainville native and CTF veteran, Radsdog. I'll bring a couple of fowl dishes and will check with Tom on what else we'll bring.

Dave
