the book states "Intermittent sections from Hoopole Hill Road downstream
to Pratt Read Reservoir"

but yet last year every single area that I can get to which I have tried all of them I get kicked out of by a land owner. I fished the small spot on Hoopole hill Rd and a guy came over and told me I had to leave it was private. I was fishing 4 feet from the road at the tube that goes under the road. I have gone to every single spot that you can get to without going into a yard and was told it was private. So if this is true why is the DEP stocking a area that no one can get to and I have also been told the 4 people that own the land in this area don't fish it and will not let anyone fish from there property. So why is it stocked again???

Also Candlewood Hill Brook in Haddam says Intermittent sections along Candlewood Hill Road yet once again there is no public access at all and dries up fast so I am sure most of if not all of the fish die in there why is this area stocked if only land ownwers can fish it yet I have talked to people there and they said they don't fish it and they have not seen people fish.

I'm not familiar with those areas (other side of the state from me), but there should be some public access areas along those stretches if they are stocking. I would suggest giving the Marlborough office a call and ask to speak with one of the fisheries biologists. Hopefully they can give you an idea where you can access legally. 860-295-9523
