Just one more thing to say on the matters here, the swim area side:
From experience at Gardner Lake, the locals who complain seem to be inclined to call their local police, who, have come to there aid, and issued warning tickets, and violations to fisherman complained about.
This seems to be another problem with this whole thing.The fisherman can still get a ticket by these complaining homeowners.
"A bad day of fishing is better than a great day at work!"
I know it costs time away from work but if I got a ticket in that situation I would plead not guilty, ask the Judge to vacate the complaint and order the plaintiff to pay your court costs. If your court costs are not covered sue the plaintiff in small claims court for your cost recovery including lost pay for your court appearances and any lawyer fees if they apply. You don't always have to be on the defensive.
