I have a guy for mass that my landlord let's hunt on his land.he's not a very ethical hunter. I found a 4 point buck with his arrow in it last season that wasn't any bigger than a german shepard he didn't bother to track. According to the hunting guide sunset Saturday was at 6:01. He didn't come out til almost 8:45. His stand is nomore than a ten min walk from where he parks. How long after sunset does he have to come out?talking to the other hunter that has permission were pretty sure this clown is hunting after sunset. Hes also drinking while he's up there.is this losher?

Actually sunset was 7:01. If you are using the DEEP chart you need to add an hour for day light savings time until the first Sunday in Nov. Now that is still 1:45 minutes after. He could have been tracking a deer or gotten turned around. There is no one specific time he must be out of the woods as long as he is not hutning after sunset.

As long as he is not actively hunting (arrow knocked) and he is walking out of the woods most of our officers will not have an issue with it. If his stand is only 10 minutes away and he's staying in the woods for a couple hours then we have an issue.

You can always call the 800 line anonymously and make a complaint. Then an officer will check him. If he's legal, no problem. If he's not either he gets arrested or at least he'll know that someone is keeping an eye on him.

Ok, get this, now the moron put up his own no trepassing signs &the under land owner he put DEP with the phone number! Lol. He also cut down a couple of trees across the trail. The othe poor guy that hunts here tried to to talk to the idiot tonight &the idiot went off on him &the threatend him.I really don't want the hasle of having to call him in but if it keeps up Im not going to have much choice.Im afraid ths guy is dangerous.

Here's a picture of one of the signs. Not all of them have writing on them. He didnt even use the right phone number number.lol. that's the one for enviromental emergencies. Looks like at least 2 dozen he's put up all on this property facing in. Funny too he says he has permission to hunt the abutting property but woont show anyone. At one point he said he had verbal permission.lol
