I just went through the same thing. I went to home depot and bought Bayer 24 hour grub killer, put it down and watered it in and the Skunks were gone in 2 days. This is the second time I've done this so next year I'll put the killer down in the Spring. If you go the exterminator route make a few calls, the prices can be from $150.00 to $600.00, and I'm serious.

thanks all problem solved, have not seen the darn thing in 4 days,

First I fixed all the holes in the fence it dug under, next I put up motion sensor flood lights with the 19 sensors all around the property.

Grub control laid down, next is trapping in November if they come back
