yeahhhhhhh now we get to shoot for panfish records
doesn't anyone target game fish anymore ? or are they to hard for most of you to catch
I cant catch a record pike ,bass or trout,so can you please make it easier for me to get my name in the record books wahhhhhhhh
and yet we wonder why this country is becoming so pussifed !
Is there records for hunting ?
Like biggest deer, coyote, squirrel, pheasant or rabbit maybe ?
I could give 2 shits about black bass, mush meats (I mean trout) or sitting on the ice all day and hoping a pike eats my shiner. Fishing for stocked trout is a waste of time, bass are as boring as they get and pike fishing, while a cool fish is nothing more than having a blast on the ice with your buddies. Thats the only reason to target pike through the ice - a great excuse to drink, eat and have a blast on the ice. Open water is another story.
I'm fine with them adding in other species to the record program. I think it's a good idea to keep records on all species if you have the data and not ignore them because a bass/pike guy doesn't think they should.
Personally, I think they should do away with all fo the trophy pin type programs and people who submit their information to get a pin should have to submit it for 25 bucks to pay for the pin and time to process it too.
i asked a question of the officers on this site, and sure enough people not being questioned come back with a half dozen ways that my question is foolish. i didnt ask about budget allocation and weather or not you think its worthy, didnt ask which fish you think are below you, and i sure as hell didnt ask anyone but ENCONN, the DEEP staff, and the gentleman who are kind enough to monitor this particular forum of the website.
im gonna ask that on this thread please bite your lip if you dont have something good to add to the thread, and delete anything you previously wrote that isnt pertinent to the question i asked or the response about what is going to change...
