Want to thank Capt and all the others at Deep for a great opening day, especially the crew that delivered the kids stocking at Wharton Brook Trout Park.
After fishing early with the adults, I accompanied my stepson and his 5 year old to Wharton Brook for the little guys first opening day. We knew the truck was scheduled to arrive around 10 am.
Shortly before the truck arrived a Deep employee came around the pond and got all the kids fired up. When the truck came they all cheered! The kids all got to carry buckets and help stock the pond with large trout, all 12'+.
Needless to say they had an awesome time and then the little guy caught a few of the trout including one about 16". He is still talking about it today. Says it was way better than Xbox.
Deep helped create a fisherman for life and now he wants to do this every opening day.
