Rumor I heard was that the DEEP approached Stratford to try to negotiate a deal allowing launching while Devon was closed. DEEP was unable to close a deal with Stratford....why? The same rumor has it that Stratford wanted a relaxation of wetlands procedure for some land in town and the DEEP was unwilling. Of course, all this might just be horse puckey. Nonetheless, we are out of a launch for some time.

Ditto.

Nice docks and ramp. Good Police patrol. Garbage cans and outhouses. At the end of the 'no wake' zone of the Housy.

There is even a hot dog snack house if you are there at the right time.

If you chase two rabbits, you will not catch either one.

When those speedy quick construction guys get done with the New Haven I-95 Quinnipiac River Bridge, send them over next to the Housy I-95 bridge and that bridge will get done ASAP! MANY of us will be dead before we ever see that boat ramp/fishing area open again.
The housy bridge construction guys sit under the bridge in lawn chairs and have a grill going while sunning themselves, I kid you not, I was THERE talking to them asking them and asking them if I could fish there, everyone was in favor of me doing that except one supervisor, too bad, I could have caught them a nice bass for the grill like they wanted!!

The New Haven crew has a bonus written into their contract for finishing early.

Maybe the housy crew can only earn an extra years pay... if they can drag it out an extra year.

....If we have any say... Vote for May
