Not yet. It's in the regulation package that is going to the Governor's office for review but even if it passes it will not take effect until after the summer. But, Fisheries is moving forward on it. I haven't seen the language of the regulation so I don't know what the numbers will be.
I'm sure it's got to be frustrating for you guys at the DEEP that something like this has got to go to the Governor's office for approval. I doubt ol' Dannel, or many of the folks in his staff for that matter, is much of a sportsman anyway. I am willing to bet the decision is better left to the experts of the DEEP and it will get activity a lot sooner. Can you say "Job justifyin'"?
