Last week 1 of my 2 bait freezers goes out. I still have one though. The big mess up was right after the storm there were hundreds of freezers that were thrown out because everything thawed out and the juices went into the unit. I have one shed that is ready for just bait freezers and maybe an ice machine. If I had thought I could have packed that shed with all the freezers I wanted. Would not care how bad they smelled.

Clean them well with lots of bleach and open back up to get to as much of the insides as you can and load with bait. Now I have to find 1 or 2 somewhere. The one that just failed was a commercial uprite that cost me 85 bucks as is in 2006. Don't have the chest freezer full at this time but hate to turn down free bait just because of no place to store it. There are times when the marinas are out of bait and I have some for some of my captains and trips.

At the time I was not thinking of the future just busy helping others. Too late now banghead

You and Jo have always been known as folks who give during good times and bad. Surely someone down there has your back. Put out the word.

Slow fishing is better than no fishing.

Speaking of good times and bad. This site has given much to us after Katrina and now that the same thing has hit in your neck of the woods as All r. would say it is our turn.

We would appreciate some info as to how we can help some up there. Suggestions would be appreciated.

How did Allison and Garth make out in this one?
