Sorry Hank, trout are raised in a hatchery at significant cost each. I just think a trout stamp would help offset hatchery operating cost vif the funds went directly into an account for the trout program.
I would also like to see opening day become a thing of the past,2/3 of the stocked trout for this put and take fishery are gone within weeks of opening day,not the greatest thing for a limited resource in my opinion.
Better for us to think creatively than to let the government think for us ,we all know how well that usually ends up for us.

Just remember the state already has a Duck Stamp, that money is to be used only for habitat enhancement ect UNLESS.......................the legislature decides to commandeer it for a budget shortfall in some inner city entitlement program. Happened before you can bet your hard earned $$ it will happen again.
Does anything our state or government do to us really surprise you. They both suck!!!! I love my country but hate what its become!! They can all drop dead for all I care
If you voted for Malloy your an idoit if you voted for Obama you just an ass hole and should be striped of your citizenship!
This country has room for but one flag..The american flag..This country has room for but one language the english language. Theodore Roosevelt
maybe this is the time for a dramatic bill. Sunday hunting for a fee charge $50 for the permit how many people would by one? Time to be creative to increase revenue. Lots of states have different endorsments for different spiecies that you persue like a trout stamp ect.
WTF is wrong with you??!?!?!? we dont need to increase revenue going to the gov! the f***ing gov. needs to cut useless and wasteful spending like all the money it gives away to lazy azz pieces of garbage that do nothing but sit on their azzes and talk on their cell phones while watching satelite tv in their aparments (all of which are paid for by us dummies that actually have enough pride to get a job). thats not enough free crap that the gov. wastes money on. we have to feed them at home, and feed their kids at school twice a day! so you say we're not paying enough to the gov? are you frikkin kidding me? you want to pay more to fish? you want to pay more to hunt? u want more fees? u want more stamps? U WANT MORE TAXES?????? i dont understand your way of thinking there is no hope for this nation. it is ruined. it will never be what it once was.
OK, a few years back they extended Medicare tax to all income from what was limited before. So if someone made a million dollars, their tax went up 27K all at once. They said those people can afford it no problem....those people can cut that much and not even notice.
Well.....turnabout is fair play. If the rich taxpayer and absorb it then the rich departments can absorb it. I know if I got a shot at their budget, I could cut 82 out of each million in about 5 minutes.
Government always spends it all and always want more.

unfortunate Matt that you deal with such DICKS all the time that make your life hard.........
If you ever have the chance to talk to Officers Persico, Tavares,Ryan Healy or Ruggerio you would see how passionate they are abput their work, and that they'll spend some time talking fishing and hunting with yaas far as I'm concerned people that have something to hide find the authority to be assholes and make comments like yours...........I did have an encounter with Vroman one day which he coulda been quite a bit more professional.but in reality put yourself in his position,.6 guys with loaded shotguns in a field...Officer Williams showed up and everything panned out just fine.........he let me off the hook for forgetting to sign my stamp......he coulda ticketed me bigtime for that, FYI .........
I agree let the officers go back to being Game wardens..........its almost a free for all out there already.we cant afford to lose anymore........
