Friday Night I went to a big game dinner at Anthony's Oceanview in New Haven. Huge affair with 500 to 600 people. It was $60 each with open bar from 6:30 to 10 --- The open bar turned out to be the best part.
The food was nothing special, the raffles were nothing special, except for a 50/50 raffle that ended up at $6400.
All proceeds went in right in their own pockets
The CTF Game Dinner is still the best one I've ever been to. For anyone that has never been to this - You are missing a really good time. Everyone is friendly (except for Paul D) and the food is outstanding with an 80ft buffet line. Even if you are leery about the eating "game" part - there is still plenty to eat without taking big chances. Jump right in on this deal. You won't regret it.
I have been to a bunch of diffrent game dinners from CT TO Maine and this is by FAR THE BEST one that I have been too Like Walt said if your not into game there is still alot of things that you can eat and enjoy Heck in a few years after We move to Maine I willbe making the 7 hour drive back to CT for this dinner
Maine The Way Life Should Be and is going to be for me and the dogs before to long
