I have a replacement deer tag from the Jan 2013 season.. it says on it that it can be used for the 2013 season. Can I use it for the fall season? Or was it only good for january?
I also keep hearing from hunters that they can use the all 6 tags in the Fall... I was under the impression that it was 2 tags for January only and 4 tags for Sep-Dec.

The replacement tag is valid for the calendar year. But, it can only be used on private lands in Zones 11 and 12.
Archers with 6 tags have two tags which are valid only in January (subject to the above restrictions) and cannot be used in the fall. Hunters cannot use all 6 tags in the fall.
However, archers CAN use all 6 tags in January, if they wish, but they will be finding themselves without tags to use in the fall, unless they have replacement tags to use.
If a hunter uses his 2 tags that are valid only for January, and gets replacement tags for them, those replacement tags are good for the calendar year and can be used in the fall (essentially having 6 tags that are valid in the fall).
