27 Kids fished the derby today with lots of fish caught, and brought to the scales. Lots of new CTF faces as well , hopefully we can get many more next year. Pulling the boats out at the end was a little frustrating with all the summer traffic under way. Note: next year have this earlier in the year.

Paul, great job pulling it all together again. Dave and Abrew, thanks for helping out. And Joe, thanks for really closing out the day with some nice fun and memories for the kids.
Thanks for all who came out. Nice to see some new faces and kids come out.
A great day on the lake! This is the second time I've taken my nephew fishing. He is hooked! Thanks Paul, Dave, Mitch and CTF.
His first perch of the day.
His first pickeral, with a piece of Joe's beef jerky in his mouth.
We released the pickeral and perch. So, he had no fish for weigh in. It was 11:15, so we took a ride around the lake a few times. He loved that. At 11:40, we fished the island trying to catch his first bass of the day.
Literally the last cast he hooks a 1.71 lmb. We race back to a chaotic launch. He's ends up in 2nd place.
Thanks Joe, another fun show. Thanks for the jerky too.

Great time had by all! It was my daughters first CTF event and she had a blast. She especially enjoy Joe's magic show! She caught a little of everything....a few sunnies, a yellow perch, a few pickerel and a largemouth. We'll get her little brother out there in a few more years. Here's a few pics.....

It was my first year with jacob, and what a great time it was. Opened my boat up to a another great father and son team. Had a blast watching jacob and chase work together. One would net while the other would fight their fish.
Simply perfect. Thanks to Paul, Dave, Mitch and Joe and everyone that contributed at the Game Dinner/Tackle Swap to make this special fishing day possible.

Priceless; perfect pic for a future caption this photo.
Looks like a great time , I missed being there. Unfortunately my kids have outgrown this event till they have kids of their own. One just graduated high school and the other is 13 going on 21 .
We had another great CTF KID'S DAY ! Thank you Jerry in Ct for running your boat for us, Saturday. The kids were so excited to fish on the fancy big go fast boat, and it took quite a bit of stress away from my day We ended up putting something together catching a sunny, perch, pickerel, and the division winning bass by Mia .

This was our second time - and again it was AWESOME !!! my daughter cant wait till next year already. My buddy Ron's daughter Allison caught her first ever bass that day too! Joe - your magic show never gets old, just as funny and good as last year ! so I hope all you ctfers either bring your kid or be a captain - cause it's all about seeing that huge smile when that kid catches a fish.
and the pizza was slammin as well
next year we gotta figure out something at the ramp.... that was nuts - I've never seen it that crazy. I'm hoping my club will be more involved in helping next year.

Great time had by myself, Kayla and our guests Jim and Josh. The best was Josh hooking a pickerel and reeling it in as Kayla raced around the boat to grab the net and net the fish. She even extended the handle which I didn't even know she knew how to do that. Jim and I didn't have to do anything.
Thanks to Paul, Joe, Mitch, and all those who helped out today. Next year my son Tyler will be there too.
