fishwhisperer Member Registered: 03/07/12 Posts: 470 Loc: Plainfield	I just bought a house in Plainfield. 1/3 of a mile from patchaug outdoor club. Can I build a berm and shoot pistols and a 22 rifle on my property? I have 3 acres in back and its all woods behind that. Lots of gunfire in area some days already, I dont think the neighbors would care. I know its 500 feet from house when hunting but not sure about target shooting. Thanks......

Target shooting is not covered by any state statute or regulation other than if you start shooting at a neighbor's house/dog/car, etc. Then criminal charges apply.
