I just got my 2014 fishing/hunting licence and I noticed that it has my PWC, boaters safety number on it now. Is that sufficient to prove you have it? I always carry my boaters safety card with me but just curious especially after Gabes question about a copy of your licence on your smart phone.

I noticed my license had the number on it too. The question I have is I purchased a fishing license for my son and my stepson at the same time as mine and their boating/pwc number was not on theirs. Why is that. Both have completed the joint safety course.

When you get your new license your SBC or PWC certificate numbers will be on there. Anyone getting a SBC or PWC cert from this point forward will only have it noted on their license.
