That was said to him, and he did not want to cause a problem. In politics you don't throw stones in a election year when you want to be Gov. If the guy has dirt on you, don't cause a problem.

The only way the mayor would do something is if a group complained, like fish and game club, public pressure. Right now he is busy running for Gov and the few emails or calls on the subject is not doing anything, public works was kicking off guys again this weekend.

The good thing is we have candlewood with good ice and all the res lakes over the line in Putnam good .

Maybe a letter to the editor might throw some pressure on him...

I've been in contact with inland fisheries over this. Apparently Kenosia is part of the Danbury reservoir system and the state Dept of Health is the driving force behind the fishing ban, not the City of Danbury. Fisheries is looking into it further to see if there can be some type of resolution to allow fishing there. I'll keep you posted.
