Welcome aboard Sarge!
You can say anything foolish to a dog, and that dog will still give you a look that says, "WOW!! What a great idea!! I never would have thought of that!!"
Some people are born on third base, then spend the rest of their lives thinking they hit a triple.
We saw a quad go too close to the river channel on Ashland Pond Saturday and the operator had to leave it stuck halfway submerged in the ice. Was open water there on Monday so not sure if they got it out on Sunday or it sank.

Classic case of the stupid shall be punished. Last year while getting on Pachaug from the Griswold F&G club we saw a nice snowmobile submerged about 10 ft from shore with just its windshield and a handle sticking out. Apparently some dude and his girlfriend went in at night. They were able to get out of the water but his phone was still on the sled and sank with it. So they had to walk 5 miles home in wet clothing. He was waiting around the next day for someone to open the gate so he and a buddy could get access to the club to get it out. We let him in...best part besides he was trespassing on the club that night with it...he had done the exact same thing the year before that in the same spot. Also his girlfriend never called him back or wouldn't return his calls lol
