That's not even a state launch at Vet's Park...as a matter of fact there isn't a state launch in FFD county to even get on the Sound.
Collecting fees at the state launches would not come close to the projected numbers need by CLA for what they want, not only that CLA has no jurisdiction over the state launches and they definitely don't own the lake. So again why are we so eager to fund the CLA with money coming directly from people that they want to restrict?
Actually there are a lot of people who agree with you Chris. I get that sentiment from all over. My guess it goes the way the saltwater license is going. Stopped, renegotiated, re-debated, new Bill in a different form, etc. until something passes. To be a stake-holder and an input provider to mold the solution those interested in the outcome have to be involved now. I will be attending the noon meeting in New Fairfield and will report back on what I hear and observe.
I can agree that if i lived on that lake i would be all for cutting the traffic down on it...hell i would love to have it for myself! I don't care how many fish are in there and how big it is there are WAYY to many tournaments there, especially during the spawn, and i have only seen them released at Latins and it not good water where everyones putting them back.
Once again i dont blame anyone who lives on the lake to push for this. Even you C-WOOD! haha
