2011 CTF Game Dinner!! party2

When:
Saturday March 12th 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Where:
Plainville V.F.W. Hall
7 Northwest Drive
Plainville, CT.
(Close for everyone! Located in the center of the state)

Cost:
Donation of $10.00 per person AND everyone must bring a fish or game dish to share. Desserts or salads are always welcomed if you don't have fish or game. Please bring something-the more the merrier!!

Proceeds from the game dinner will go to support 3 great causes again this year, The CTF Kids Fishing Day at Gardner Lake, the CT DEP C.A.R.E. Program and the CT Hunt To Feed program.

*The DEP C.A.R.E. Program!
The Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection, Fisheries Division, sponsors FREE fishing classes. Families and individuals age nine and up are encouraged to attend classes held throughout the year across Connecticut. Classes are taught by state certified volunteer instructors through the Connecticut Aquatic Resources Education (CARE) Program. The classes vary in length from half-day events to four-day courses. All locations provide access for the disabled and all fishing tackle and course materials are provided free of charge! Students will receive official diplomas upon successful completion of the course. C.A.R.E. Program

*The Hunt To Feed Program!
Hunt To Feed provides meals of donated venison to soup kitchens and homeless shelters through out the state.Donated deer are processed at no cost completely with funds from the program and are then distributed to those who are less fortunate.

We feel that all 3 of these causes showcase the goodwill that comes from sportsmen and women, and promotes hunting and fishing in a positive light to protect and preserve our hertiage as well as the future of our sport.

Raffles:
The CTF Game Dinner has come to be known as the mother of all raffle events and last year featured almost 100 different and unique prizes! We will once again be showcasing our famous bucket raffles featuring tons of great outdoor products.

We will be featuring great ladies and kids raffles too!

Monster Buck-et This year will will also be doing the Monster Buck-et raffle. Please bring a hunting or fishing item to donate to the Monster Buck-et prize!

Come and Win some great prizes! There definitely will be something for everyone!

We will also accept member donations for prizes, nothing will be refused.
Please see the member's donation thread to list your items. Thanks!

Freebies:
Everyone that attends will receive a free sample pack of hooks from Tru Turn/XPoint/Daichi courtesy of pro staffer Huskybass (Thanks Mike)

Beverages:
Soda, Bottled Water and Coffee will be provided free of charge.
Adult beverages will not be sold at the event. BYOB in moderation.

Cooking/Reheating
We have access to a full commercial kitchen, however we preferred that you pre-cook and just reheat. Also bring your crock pots and anything you need for your dish. A gas grill is available to BBQ anything you may run over on the way to the dinner!

Don't delay! Buy your tickets NOW! The event is less than 2 months away and we need everyone's involvement to make this event a huge success!

Remember to sign up the food item you will be bringing under the "Menu" Thread, and please lend a hand with set up and clean up

I will be in town then, and I see that the New Haven St. Paddy's parade is the next day.
