2 weeks ago I stopped at Newtown B&T with another person. While we were there I asked one of the owners if the state has stocked any trout around the area. She told me the state has hardly done any stocking due to the water levels. I understand that. But now that we had all of this rain and levels are back up and rivers are running well, when will the state be stocking trout?

Due to the low waters and warm temperatures throughout Sept. things had to be temporarily postponed. With the recent rains, Fall stocking is up and running again this week. Check the weekly Fishing Reports for updates on what has been recently stocked.
