Can anyone confirm or deny a rumor I heard about some guys getting caught with a trot line in the Satans Kingdom area of the Farmingtn River? I heard they were taking out huge fish with a trot line for quite a while.
Back home we got a taxidermy man. He gonna have a heart attack when he see what I brung him.

I highly doubt it . That is the area used often by canoeist and tubers.A trot line would surely be seen by someone. hundreds of people a day are on that stretch of river.
it is also some pretty tough terrain to get to unless you are floating the river.
does not make sense to me that someone would set a trot line in that area.
