Curley Member Registered: 09/12/03 Posts: 880 Loc: Wallingford	Can anyone shed some light on what the heck happened there. It used to be clear with weedbeads and grass. Now there is no vegitation at all and water clarity is poor, mostly green. The place was a jewel at one time. Now it's a toilet. GOOD DIGGIN

O-BASS Member Registered: 06/04/03 Posts: 20124	well if its anything like the rest of the state, someone applied for, and was granted a weed control pesticide, which destroys everything, including the fish. how the DEEP grants this is beyond me. intentionally poisoning a lake to kill weeds... known super toxins. someone explain it to me so it makes sense...
