was reading the new regs. for the 3rd rod? exceptions are for trout management areas....does this mean we cant run a 3rd rod at twin, highland..west hill etc???

I thought it only applied to streams/rivers, but I can see where this might apply to lakes as well.

Lakes and ponds are called Trout Management Lakes and rivers and streams are Trout Management Areas according to the regulation book. So I'm saying they are two different things.

I agree, just want to make sure that once this rule passes [when is that suppose to be by?] that in the excitement we don't get nabbed by accident.......

I thought the same way until FishFinger asked in that PM chain.......

Better to be sure.
