Well not AT Hatch Pond, but downstream from it a little ways.
The beaver dam a few hundred yards down the outlet stream is so high that the stream level is higher than the dam at Hatch, and is thus raising the level of Hatch pond. Check out the photos...
Note that the water level is the same on both sides of the dam, and the actual top of the dam is submerged.
You can make out the top of the actual dam in this photo — about 8 inches under the surface. The spillway is under the submerged pipe in the foreground, and is about 18 inches lower than the top of the dam.
This is the flooded Womenshenuck Brook (aka Hatch Pond Brook) downstream of the dam. Somewhere between here and the house in the background (which is on the opposite side of Bulls Bridge Rd), there’s a very tall beaver dam.
