With the DEP's new channel catfish stocking program getting more popular, I feel that with how heavy those fish get hit there should be a new regulation for maximum amount of fish per day.

Even though Bridgeport is one of your average CT cities that always sees a high number of inconsiderate fishermen who take loads of fish of all sizes, there should still be a new regulation.

I feel the regulation should be a maximum of either 5, 6, or 7 fish per person per day for all lakes and ponds stocked.

A lady who has gotten to know me at Bunnell's Pond and now fishes for the cats there told me that she learned her lesson about license and regulations last year. When I mentioned to her Saturday about the way I feel with stocked channel catfish regs, she said the same with the way she now feels after learning the hard way last year by being caught with no saltwater fishing license and too many undersized stripers.

If bluefish were to grow as big as giant bluefins, then there would be nothing left out there except for blues!
