Was on a pond and there were 4 guys set up covering half of the lake. It took them a good 5-10 mins to get to a flag. There were other groups that were trying to find a spot but there tip ups were everywhere. We said screw it and set up inside of one of there tips and we were still hundreds of feet from them. What is the law on how far you are allowed to be and especially if there are other fisherman trying to find a spot?

There is no law other than you can't have more than 6 tipups and your name and address has to be on them. If they have theirs spread out and you set up in the middle of them you're not doing anything illegal.
