A couple of days ago new signs were added to the West Hill boat launch parking area. A section is now reserved for "Trailered Parking Only". Yesterday some tickets were issued. Today at one time I saw 8 cars and 0 trailers in the section. Pic shows most of them. DEEP was called by more than one person.
DEEP was called, but no one saw them come around. Maybe they did, but there were a lot of "eyes" waiting and watching. On Saturday there were over 150 people using the launch, not counting the swimmers. The person doing the counting wasn't even there all day. Sunday was a lot worse. There was a very loud 'concert' at someone's waterfront place and the tubers, kayakers, paddleboarder's and boaters congregated there to listen, drink, smoke strange "tobacco", etc. etc. People were parking three cars deep in the state boat launch lot and on the surrounding town roads. Third 'concert' this month. West Hill used to be a nice quiet pond/lake.

Would be nice if someone would come and take care of the situation. Just ticket every one of them. I have been staying away just because of the misuse of the launch.

Took a ride up to the launch around 2pm. Seven vehicles with no trailers parked right in front of the “trailer only parking” signs. Cars were facing the signs. People must be blind. Also there is a large pontoon boat trailer in the back lot. Been there for a week or more. Must be a storage lot now.
