I have to say, I am still confused. I know that it was passed in the legislature and the Governor signed the Bill. But I have no clue what the intention of the DEP is.
I also know there is a meeting tomorrow to amend old legislation to make handgun hunting laws more clear but after looking at the CCS release it is still not clear to me.
--What is this deer hunting revolver permit? I know it is five bucks and you get to use your gun tags early starting on Nov 1st by using a .357 cal. handgun or larger on private land with private land written permission. Is this permit in lieu of having to have a Ct. carry permit? Does the DEP intend to take this legislation and announce a season?
--Has any process been documented and released anywhere?

Buck, we are still waiting for the final regulation to be approved. Right now all I know for sure is that something is going to be coming out, hopefully in time for November 1st. As soon as I get the final wording and I understand what it says, I'll post the info.
