I would like to get my son involved in Goose Hunting.
# 1 What is the maximum number of people allowed in a Goose Blind, Hunters and Non-Hunters? ( A Non-Hunter would not have a gun, a license, etc. )
# 2 Regardless of the number of people in the blind, what would the "Non-Hunter" be allowed to do?
a. only observe
b. help set up decoys
c. retrieve birds
d. photograph/serve coffee, etc.
e. all of the above
Any info on how to introduce new hunters would be appreciated.

MyGirl;

I'll defer to EnCon as the final word, but I grabbed an old copy of the waterfowl regs guide from 2009 and it confirmed that a hunting party shall include no more than 6 individuals, with a minimum distance of 100 yds between parties.

In looking at your list, I believe that "e" all of the above, is the answer. Non Hunters can participate in any of the activities except for shooting the gun.

Great idea to introduce your son to the sport. Once my son was hooked, his friends started tagging along as well. Every one of them loved it.

Good luck.

Maximum number of people in the hunting party is six. Blinds must be 100 feet or more apart.
You can have a non-hunter who is only observing - that means that they don't touch a gun, don't set up decoys and don't retrieve birds. If they participate in the hunt in any manner, even without firing a shot they are required to have a license and waterfowl stamp. If they are strictly observers/photographer, then you are OK.

Unfortunately the regulation does not define what a "hunting party" is so it's up to the officer in the field, based on their observations, to determine if the person is part of the hunting party.
