I always get questions from people regarding how to become an EnCon Police officer, but on occasion I will get a question regarding non-enforcement careers in environmental fields.

I came across something yesterday that I never knew existed, the NOAA Commissioned Corps. These are the men and women who are the commissioned officers on all the NOAA research vessels and the pilots for all the NOAA aircraft. They have the same rank structure as the Navy and wear the same uniform as the Navy.

Just thought it might be of interest to someone looking for a career that's a bit out of the ordinary.
