The New England Fishery Management Council is seeking applicants to serve on its Advisory Panels (APs) for a three-year term from January 2014 through December 2016. The Council relies on AP members provide knowledgeable insight and guidance to various oversight committees and the Council in the development of fishery management plan amendments and framework adjustments.
The council is seeking members for the following APs: Groundfish, Recreational Fishing (meets with the Groundfish Committee), Scallop, Herring, Monkfish, Habitat, Skate, Whiting, Red Crab, and Enforcement.
