John, can you still get support from Garmin on the unit? Will they still honor it as a new unit for warranty? Can I get the chip from them or do I need to get it online? Are the sounder modules still available as well? It was a great unit, just need to know if they will continue to support it with all the new preprogrammed stuff they have available.

Garmin will still offer phone technical support. Although it's a brand new unit, I doubt there is still warranty. You can buy Bluechart chips on Ebay, no problem.
The sounder module for this unit is the GSD20. Again, best place to buy is Ebay. I see them for sale all the time.
