Since the seminar was cancelled, I want to share this slide showing the safety essentials for anyone using a kayak. We really want to reduce the number of kayak fatalities in CT.

I would add . . . . Practice Self-Rescue.

Do it once in controlled conditions so you know the sequence when you need too.
