Manuel - I just spoke to my officer (not the CLA officer). If you are participating in a tournament and receive an infraction/summons for any violation most tournaments DQ you for that. This is not a state regulation, it is a tournament rule. My officer didn't DQ you, he advised you to contact the tournament director.

As you discussed with my officer, he was not there to see the speeding violation and was only called in at the request of the CLA officer after the fact.

You have two options. Pay the ticket or plead not guilty. If you plead not guilty you can explain what happened to the court and they will make a decision as to the outcome.

If you would like to pursue a complaint against the CLA officer you have that option open to you also.
