One of my pet peeves is when in print, poachers are referred to as hunters...that works the same way as when criminals are referred to as suspects I guess...but its not fair to actual hunters IMHO.

Any how, what where some on the 89 incidents involving deer hunting?
Seems like a high number to me... or a low number of arrests. Just curious what types of incidents???

And keep up the good work!!!

Everyone is innocent until proven guilty. We don't get the court abstracts in most cases until more than a month or so after the arrests are made. So, they are suspects/subjects/persons arrested, etc. until adjudicated.

We receive a number of complaints of people hunting illegally that turn out to be legal, such as having permission to be where they are but people that live in the area didn't know it and called. Or, shots heard at different times of the day or night that were unfounded, etc. We group our complaints for statistical purposes based on the overall type of activity involved.
