Because the local PDs release the info prior to the person going to court. In some of our cases the people have already gone to court and their case my have been disposed of or they were found not guilty prior to our putting out the monthly highlights.

If we make a major arrest we do put out a press release at the time of the arrest with the person's name, address, etc.
