In one sense, it's still a combustion engine. But on the other hand, it burns cleaner, quieter and there is no fuel that can spill into the lake.


They would still be considered internal combustion engines. If a lake/pond has a restriction then the only augers that could be used are hand-powered or electric. Unless someone wants to invent a wind driven auger, that would be allowed biggrin
