I know that you guys are really busy with trout stocking but I have a question. I was wondering if stocking Splake fingerlings in Hogsback, Highland, E.Twin, Lakeville, or W.Hill. would have a positive effect on our fisheries. I know the State of CT has no money but I would be willing to help raise funds to purchase fingerlings from Maine if you think stocking Splake would possibly work since they hold over well foraging on Alewives, Smelt, Minnows, Roughfish, and have excellent survivability, flourishing in lakes that can't readily support Brook or Lake Trout while having growth rates at up to 3/4inch a month, provide excellent table fare and are easily caught through the ice. Thanks, in advance.
