Hi Mike. Not sure if this helps, but the guide makes no distinction between waters that are stocked or waters that aren't stocked with regards when the season is open or closed. There's a lovely Brook Trout stream down the road from me that isn't stocked but is still closed to trout when the trout season is closed.

That said, if you're not targeting trout -- for example, have a lake that has good population of panfish or bass I think you'd do okay fishing for a species that is in season.

Anything that's getting stocked stay clear of.

EDIT: Looking at a topo map it seems that those ponds are all one system and it's all closed during the closed season for trout.
