I certainly agree with your statement. But if I am jump shooting them I am not stationary, and as a result would be required (I think) to comply with the orange requirement. So If the area is a mix of hunting for pheasant and waterfoul, small game, etc. It might cause confusion and I would sure hate to get a ticket or worse becasue of confusion!
I finally figured out why we get up so early in the morning to fish. It's not so much the sunrise bite that gets us out there; but the fact that once we have a wife and kids the only time we can actually get to the lake is at that ungodly hour!
