This is the first time I have never seen any trout in the Pequonnock River this time of year. I didn't see any fall stocking report for other rivers such as Pootatuck, Saugatuck, Norwalk, and Mill. I didn't even see any report about stocking Great Hollow Pond at Wolfe Park which is a trout park.

Does the lack of stocking this fall have more to do with the state budget or Hurricane Irene?
If bluefish were to grow as big as giant bluefins, then there would be nothing left out there except for blues!
