The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) today announced that it has launched a new section on its web site that provides information on its draft management plan for the Beverly’s property in Morris and enables the public to offer comment on it. These pages of the DEEP website can be reached at www.ct.gov/deep/boating and the email address for comment on the draft management plan is dep.boating.division@ct.gov Copies of the draft management plan are also available at Morris Town Hall and written comments on it can also be sent to: Department of Energy and Environmental Protection Boating Division Marine Headquarters Attn: Mike Payton 333 Ferry Road, P.O. Box 280 Old Lyme, CT 06371-0280 “We are eager to receive additional comment on how we could operate Beverly’s in keeping with our goals: to be a good neighbor in the community, to be a partner in protecting the lake as an important natural resource and to provide additional public access to Connecticut’s largest natural lake for boaters and fishermen,” said Deputy Commissioner Susan Frechette.
